We have wrapped up the tagger project with a multi-value text classifier of 597 classes. The classifier model is deployed in an endpoint in AWS and is connected to the editorial’s CMS system. Every time an article is saved in the CMS system, the tags are retrieved from our tagger endpoint.
Amsterdam half-marathon 2019
So is it! I’ve made it. One of my dreams: running for a half-marathon. I really enjoyed this run due to a couple of reasons: (1) This is my first ever half-marathon. (2) New PR: 5.49min/km. (3) Running through Amsterdam, the city that I’ve got to know in the last 13 years.

Opening of EuroNext stock exchange
With the Marconi award, our DNI team is invited to opening the EuroNext stock exchange in Amsterdam. It is great to experience one of the oldest stock exchanges in the world. The building itself is very impressive from the inside.

Presentation in SEA-XL meetup
Great fun at the SEA-XL meetup presenting our projects in the DNI team. My talk is entitle “Mining Knowledge in News for Personalization” where I show our building blocks of the personalized services: personalized newsletter with collaborative filtering, entity linker to companies, sentiment analysis and BNR tagger.
